18 months and 18 weeks

Jacob is (almost) 18 months!  He is growing and learning so much every day.  He is talking almost all the time, although it's not all understandable quite yet. He loves reading his books, playing with his cars, and most of all, being outside.  I think he would stay outside all day if I would let him.  He loves the dogs and yells at them through the window all day until we go out.  He is getting a little pickier about eating, but I hope it's just a phase.  He is still a great sleeper, 3 hour naps and at least 12 hours at night.
I have to say, Jacob is definitely what they call "all boy!"  He is so rough and always going full speed.  Just Tuesday, he fell out of a chair during story time at the library and busted his lip pretty good. It didn't really seem to bother him too much, and I'm pretty sure it will happen again before long.  I think all the blood and bruises bother me much more than him.
Jacob still loves going to story time, play group, and gymnastics every week.  He really loves seeing his friends and tries to say their names now.  He call himself  "Dadub."
We have his 18 month check up in a few weeks, and I will post his stats then.

Enjoying a little morning reading

It's hard to believe I'm already 18 1/2 weeks with Baby T2.  This is definitely going by much faster!  Other than the expected exhaustion, I've had it pretty easy so far.  As of my 16 week appointment, I had gained 2 pounds. I'm sure that number will start climbing much faster pretty soon!  I'm not showing yet, but I have a feeling that will change any day now.  I've already been feeling lots of movement and a few hard kicks.  I'm pretty sure Baby T2 is going to be just as active as Jacob!  We get to find out if Baby T2 is a boy or girl in just a week and a half.  We can't wait!  Cast your vote (in the sidebar) and let me know what you think!

happy Thursday!
