5 years, 16.5 months, and 13 weeks

1.  A and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary last weekend!  I cannot believe its been 5 years already - wow!  We had a wonderful weekend.  My parents came to town and stayed with Jacob while we spend a few days in Branson.  Neither of us had ever been, so we were excited for a new adventure, and for a few days to relax.  We had a great time, mostly just walking around all the shops, eating, and sleeping late.  Oh, and I got a sparkly new present!  Now, we just have to get it sized.

2. Jacob is now 16.5 months old.  Cannot believe that either!  He is walking really well and faster every day.  He's saying several words now, and more everyday - mama, daddy, ball, shoe, dog, more, cup, done - basically anything he need to communicate.  He's growing so fast, finally in most 18 month clothes.  He has also become an expert fit-pitcher.  He can drop to the floor in a screaming fit in no time!  I'm really hoping this will be a phase, a very short phase.  Jacob loves to be outside.  He starts asking to go out at breakfast and doesn't stop all day.  He even cries to go out when it's raining.  He has about 14 teeth now, and 2 more on the way.  He eats anything and everything.  As long as his mouth isn't hurting from teething, he's not picky at all.  I'm not sure how, but he's still tall and thin, even with all he eats.  Jacob is still sleeping well, about 12 hours at night and 2-3 during the day.  He doesn't fuss when I put him down and he loves to be tucked in - it's so sweet!

And most of all, Jacob loves to play!  If he is awake, he is moving.  I don't know if he's ever still.  He loves to play in his room, read his books, play outside.  He doesn't care if he's playing with other kids or with me or by himself.  He's just always on the move! His favorite toy, by far, would have to be his golf clubs.  I cannot tell you how much he loves to walk around the house or the yard hitting golf balls!

3.  Baby T2 is now 13 weeks.  Time is flying by with that too!  This pregnancy hasn't been too different from my first so far, just much more exhausted.  (I think that could have something to do with the previous paragraph though!)  We have been busy trying to find a new place for all the stuff that was in our guest room so that can eventually become Baby T2's room, at least for a while.  And of course, we've already started the name debate.  Maybe it won't be as hard as last time, but who knows?!  Most of all, we are just really happy that everything seems to be going perfectly.  We went in for our second appointment yesterday and heard a good heartbeat.  We couldn't ask for anything more!

Happy Friday!
